dc.description.abstract | This study deals with different factors of a relation that are important to create a mutual contact and closeness during a song session. This is done through a qualitative, single case study with one informant. My thesis is: ”Which relational factors must be present to create a mutual contact and closeness during a song session?” The case study was carried out as 8 song sessions, where I was an active participant. The song sessions were captured on video for observation purposes. The observations are presented as narratives where focus is on different situations of interaction; the participants different focus', movement and physical closeness, imitation of verbal and non-verbal expressions, clients initiative and song as a measure for musical interaction. The observations are then discussed in relation to the theories on communication, relations and approval. On the basis of these finds I draw four superior relational factors which I mean have significance for mutual contact and closeness. I look at these factors in a musical interaction - in this case, the song session. | no_NO |
