It is a sunny afternoon at Holmen Fjord hotel in Asker, outside Oslo. Stein Bråten and Colwyn Trevarthen, two international Nestors and authorities within infancy and communication research, are invited to a luncheon, addressing topics on human communication in general - and children, music and health in particular. During the enlightening luncheon, terms like altercentric participation, primary and secondary intersubjectivity, feelings, musicality and time philosophy are discussed and related to historical and recent research.
